Here are a few pictures of some ivory inuit art. My father (who passed away last year) gave me all of his carvings that he brought back from up north. As a young girl my father went to Frobisher Bay and area (I think that was what it was called back then) to work for 6 months at a time. When he came home he always brought something new. I always asked my dad to see these pieces and he always said they would belong to me someday. I have more carvings made of stone and bones and other materials. Some are bears, dogs, sleds etc... But since this is a colour day (sticking with my white week theme) - I will post some of my white pieces for now.
