Red Pizza Yummm! - Feb 17th

Well the box has red on it. And don't forget the pizza sauce is red. Supper was delish tonight. Always sweet when mama doesn't have to cook. :)

Red Pens - Feb 16th

Honestly just took this picture (it was almost midnight)....sorry but it was red day (doing a colour week) and I forgot to take a photo of something red today. I took some nice photos of flowers earlier in the day.

Red Treat? You Decide - Feb 15th

Almost didn't post today - Just didn't have anything I really wanted to take a photo of. Was thinking "ok this is my red week what is red around my house?" I spotted one of my hubby's favourite treats sitting on the counter. Hmmm that is red! So here is my photo of the day Cranberries. Yeck.

Red Toy - Feb 13th

Decided to do my once a month (all week) colour theme. I will be doing the red theme this week because, of course it is Valentine's Day during the month of February. So all week you will see red in my photos. Last month was white and I found it difficult. Hopefully red will be an easier colour to find. Below is a little guy my son found in his Kinder Surprise egg.

Valentine Loot - Feb 12th

Here is most of my son's Valentine cards and candy from school today. Minus a few goodies he ate along the way. I asked him if he had a favourite card and he picked the homemade one below. I agree it was so nice of one of his classmates to be creative and to take the time to make her own Valentine.

Teaching Mom - Feb 11th

My 8 year came home today all excited about teaching me about angles. He sat down after supper and drew a diagram to help me understand right angles etc...

Mission Something Borrowed - Feb 10th

So this weeks 365 group mission was to take a photo of something borrowed. I thought it would be a breeze to come up with something. NOT! Finally I was thinking what did I borrow and never return - this tape dispenser. A long long long time ago I move to London from North Bay and borrowed this from a friend, to tape up my boxes. Well as you can see it is still with me some 15 years later. It has helped me many times over the years, with my moving around the city. It is semi retired now as we have bought our new home 3 years ago and do not plan on moving again. It now sits in our garage waiting for odd jobs around the house!

Look What We Recieved Today - Feb 8th

I am so excited! Our passports arrived at our door today. We have been planning on taking a vacation in a month or two. Been busy looking up places. Las Vegas is where we want to go. It has been awhile since we went somewhere other than in Ontario. Anyone been there? Any advice?

I took these pictures this morning around 8 a.m. on the 5th. I am not sure why my photos says the 4th...lol. When I think of it all of my other blog pictures are taken in the afternoon or at night. Neglect - Feb 4th

Mission Something New - Feb 2nd

We bought a few things new this year. Here is my front load washer and dryer. We bought them on Boxing Day for a great price. My old washer was giving me a hard time just before the xmas holidays, the last two washes I did my load wouldn't drain properly, making noises etc... So we figured instead of fixing it we would just buy a new set. Nothing wrong with my old dryer, works great. Anyone need them?

Scary Toy - Jan 30th picture

I wonder sometimes if toys are just too scary for kids. This one walks and growls and sniffs. Moves his eyes and jaws and tracks your movement. My brother bought it for my son a few years ago and he wouldn't even touch it that year. LOL

It is bad, taking photos of a calendar - Jan 29th

As usual I didn't take my camera out today. It is almost 11 pm and shoot I haven't taken a photo for the day. So walking around the house looking at objects thinking "ok....what will I take a picture of?" Nothing jumps out at me - so I thought about writing in blog "No Picture Today" when I looked at my calendar sitting beside my computer on the desk and thought nice animal shots. So here are some of my favourites in the TD desk calendar. I really wish I could just take the photo of the animals and flowers and not the dates with it. But my camera is not a good one, I cannot zoom in much. So I used the crop option and cropped all my photos except the one below (wolf with calendar dates) to show you what they looked like before the crop.
